From Page 4 to Position 2 in 5 Months, and New Patient Calls Tripled

The Challenge

The practice was effectively invisible on Google. For its most important search, "dentist Sugar House," it sat on page four, where almost no one ever scrolls. New patient growth had stalled, and the owner was relying on word of mouth in one of the most competitive dental neighborhoods in the Salt Lake Valley.

Two newer practices had opened within a mile, both ranking in the Map Pack. The practice had a decent website but a barely-touched Google Business Profile, inconsistent listings across directories, and only a handful of Google reviews.

Our Approach

• We started with a full Google Business Profile rebuild: every category, service, and attribute optimized, weekly posts, and professional photos of the office and team.
• We installed a review generation system that asked happy patients for a Google review at the right moment, and we responded to every review that came in.
• We cleaned up NAP inconsistencies across the directories Google trusts, then built citations the practice was missing.
• We published content targeting the questions patients actually search, and built six quality backlinks per month, each verified with a live URL.

The Result

Within five months the practice ranked second for "dentist Sugar House" and appeared in the Map Pack for related searches. New patient calls tripled, and the schedule filled to the point where the practice began planning to add an operatory.
